    Course Curriculum

    Postural-Alignment

    Correct alignment brings depth in Yoga poses and lightness in brain. However, as a teacher one should know that alignment is very personal, because all bodies are different. In the Online YTTP, you learn how to know if someone needs to re-align or one needs a hands-on adjustment. Being stubborn with alignment principles put your students in danger. You will learn how to be firm and gentle as the situation demands. This online training also teaches you to give cues according to the crowd and develop the alignment-intelligence in students.

    Pranayama

    It is a powerful practice for physical and mental health. It is done by different modulations in the breathing. However, it is also important to know that all pranayamas are not suitable for everyone and it is dangerous to practice without knowledge. Many pranayamas requires preparatory work to strengthen the Respiratory system so that we don’t put load on lungs and diaphragm. In our Yoga teacher training we choose to teach pranayamas that are safe to practice and teaching. We also teach advanced pranayama techniques only if an aspirant qualifies for it.

    Meditation

    The whole work of Yogic-life is to create a certain level of stability in body and mind, so that we can sit quietly and inquire about our truth. As a Yoga teacher, one should learn, how to create a space for meditation and how to deliver a meditation class. We will guide you in developing qualities as a meditation facilitator. We will also train you to get the right way of leading a meditation class. In our online training, you will be exposed to different meditation techniques and you can choose the techniques that really suit you. As teachers we have realized that by choosing a suitable meditation brings immediate change and one can easily share the method with others.

    Anatomy & physiology

    As a yoga teacher, one must know the working of asanas on the body. It is vital that you have the basic knowledge of the structure of the human body and function of different systems. You can then understand as to how your class would affect your students and can plan accordingly. On a very superficial level, an understanding of the musculoskeletal system keeps the practice safe. A deeper understanding can also give you the skill to heal the injuries of others. The systematic learning of the poses needs a supportive environment with supervision of right teachers and we are committed to provide that.

    Yoga Philosophy

    We believe in the importance of learning yoga philosophy because it teaches you the purpose of the practice. Practice without philosophy is like moving without knowing where to reach. The Philosophy lessons help students to develop this insight that yoga is not merely an acrobatic sport but rather a study of “Self ” through the aid of body, Mind and Energy. We take reference of many classical texts to discuss the existential laws and eternal practices.

    Mobility & flexibility

    Its very important that you know how to work on mobility with flexibility. People put so much emphasis on being flexible by Yoga that they totally miss on working with the joints and they don’t observe how different bones aid an assistance in the poses. If the mobility remains neglected one can get easily injured. In our trainings, we really work on improving your mobility by strengthening and lubrication of muscles and joints respectively.

    Teaching Methodology & Practice Teaching

    Becoming teacher is a venturing into a field of precision, compassion and effectiveness. A yoga teacher is one who can bring a better version of his students with a very nourishing and refreshing experience. What to teach is a matter of preparation, but how to teach is a question of your whole consciousness. In our school you observe different teachers and their ability to share their expertise. You also get to teach your fellow participants in different formats where you can experience yourself teaching in a non-judgemental environment. Being a teacher is a matter of teaching for thousand hours, but we will definitely give you a decisive beginning.

    Use of Yoga-props

    The right understanding of the usage of Yoga-props give you a leverage of bringing people of different levels in one class. Yoga-props are very effective in accessing the subjectively hard poses. It gives support to the body and brain relaxes. However, an unnecessary emphasis of using prop can also annoy students because it can be struggling or poses can feel noneffective.

    Moral codes and Integrity

    It is important to learn the ethics and moral codes of a yoga teacher. Being a yoga teacher is a work of responsibility, even in the situations of personal vulnerability. It is a practice of strength in weak moments. It is about developing a character, which is luminous with love and purity. Even if you teach for living, you have to learn to put your principles before your momentary needs.     Frequently Asked Questions For Online YTTC

    From our experience we can say that Online Yoga Teacher Trainings (OYTTC) are very effective. Its easier to observe the students as they are on screen and teacher can really look at all of them almost at the same time. The only condition is that the group must not exceed in numbers beyond 10. And in our Online Training, we don’t admit more than 10 participants.
    We look for participants who atleast have basic level of Yoga practice and they are aware of some concepts about Yoga. We don’t admit absolute beginners as it slows down the progress of other participants. So, if you are sincerely practice Yoga for an year or more, we welcome you.
    We will advice you to heal your body first as this training is intensive and you don’t want to feel inefficient.
    This certificate will give the eligibility to apply for yoga-job in most of the country, but you still have to proof yourself skilled for the position.
    We pay close attention on students even if they are on-screen and we use very clear instruction and ques to direct and correct them.
    All the classes are recorded so you can access them anytime in the future. And we are dedicated to help you anytime.
    Most probably because we schedule according to the working-class, so they can also join. However, you can check your working hours and see if our schedule can fit in that.
